This petition is filed by the petitioner under Section 482 Cr.P.C. challenging the inaction on the part of the VII Addl. District Judge, Gudur, in disposing of Crl.Rev. Petition No.55 of 2016.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the State of Andhra Pradesh.

At the time of hearing, the only relief sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner is to direct the revisional Court to dispose of Crl.Rev.Petiton No.55 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the main case.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned VII Addl. District Judge, Gudur is hereby directed to dispose of Crl.Rev.Petition No.55 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
