The grievance of the petitioner is that the 4th respondent - Sub Inspector of Police, Gollaprolu Police Station, East Godavari District, is not receiving his complaint dated 24.05.2018 and registering the crime. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions of the 4th respondent stating that petitioner never approached the police station and filed the complaint.

Learned counsel for the petitioner disputed the same. In view of above circumstances, petitioner is given liberty to file fresh complaint and on filing of such complaint, the 4th respondent is directed to receive the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law, following the guidelines laid down by Apex Court in LALITA KUMARI v. GOVERNMENT OF UTTAR PRADESH1 With the above direction, writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
