O R D E R

This writ petition was filed seeking a direction to the A.P.Transco to include the educational qualification of Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Electronic & Communications and Electrical Engineering in the recognized qualifications for recruitment to the post of Sub-Engineer (Electrical) notified by the A.P.Transco under notification dated 18.01.2012 in the Kadapa Zone and to consider the petitioners' applications for the said post.

By interim order dated 05.03.2012, this Court directed the respondents to receive and process the applications of the petitioners pending further orders.

As the issue relates to a recruitment process of the year 2012, the cause has become stale and no further adjudication is warranted on merits in the opinion of this Court.
