HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.26063 of 2017 ORDER:

According to the petitioners, grandfather of the 1st petitioner was the owner of the land to an extent of Ac.2-25 cents in R.S.No.165/5 of Jupudi village, Amaravathi mandal, Guntur district, succeeded by the paternal grandmother Smt.M. Satyavathi and her name was mutated in the revenue records; pattadar passbooks and title deeds were issued in her favour. Smt.M. Satyavathi executed four

(4) registered settlement deeds on 11-01-2016 in favour of the petitioners.

Consequently, the petitioners applied on 26-01-2016 before the competent authority to reflect their names in the revenue records. Alleging that there is no action thereon making the petitioners to weight for appropriate endorsement so long, this writ petition is filed. 2.

The petitioners enclosed the receipts issued in online as evidence of submission of applications for mutation and E-pass book and making appropriate payment on 21-01-2016, 19-01-2016, 20-01-2016 and 26-01-2016 respectively. The petitioners alleged inaction even though such applications were made long ago.

Having regard to the material enclosed to the writ petition, which shows that the applications were filed for appropriate action, in accordance with the A.P. Rights in

>>2<< PNR, J W.P.No.26063 of 2017 Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971, the 4th respondent is directed to consider their applications and take appropriate decision as warranted by law and communicate the decision to the petitioners, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six (6) weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.

The Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
