HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE R.SUBHASH REDDY AND HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO CIVIL MISCELLANEOUS APPEAL No.3821 of 2004 JUDGMENT : (per Hon'ble Sri Justice R.Subhash Reddy) This appeal, under Section 28(2) of Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 (for brevity "the Act"), is filed by the appellanthusband aggrieved by the order and decree dated 30.08.2004 in H.M.O.P.No.10 of 2002 passed by the Principal Senior Civil Judge, Tirupati, Chittoor District, partly allowing the petition filed by the respondent-wife under Section 25(2) of the Act, enhancing the permanent alimony from Rs.1,400/- to Rs.3,000/- per month towards maintenance of the respondent-wife, while dismissing the claim of permanent alimony in favour of their daughterSowmya.

2. When the matter is called, there is no representation for the appellant. It appears that the appellant is not interested in pursuing the matter.
