ORDER:
This writ petition is filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus declaring that the action of the respondents in not releasing the increments of the petitioner from 01.04.1993 and 01.04.1994 and not revising his scale by adding the said increments, not crediting the privilege leave and sick leave to his account, not disposing of the representations dated 12.03.2008, 14.06.2009, 18.07.2012 and 29.10.2014 as illegal and arbitrary.
2. Heard the leaned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents. 3.
The petitioner was appointed as Stenographer in the respondents' Corporation in the year 1986. While he was working as stenographer, a dispute arose with regard to the caste certificate produced by the petitioner. According to the respondents' Corporation, the said certificate is a false certificate. On the ground that the petitioner produced a false caste certificate, he was removed from service. Thereafter, he filed a writ petition challenging the removal order. This Court while disposing of W.P.No.16016 of 1996 by order dated 29.12.2006 directed that the service benefits of the petitioner will be subject to the result of the enquiry relating to the caste certificate. It is submitted by the petitioner that the enquiry regarding the caste certificate is pending and he is going to attain the age of superannuation on 30.04.2016.
4. According to the petitioner, he is entitled for increments for the years 1993 and 1994 and he made several representations dated 12.03.2008, 14.06.2009, 18.07.2012 and 29.10.2014 requesting the respondents to release the increments for which he is entitled.
5. In the aforesaid circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representations, dated 12.03.2008, 14.06.2009, 18.07.2012 and 29.10.2014 submitted by the petitioner and pass
appropriate orders thereon within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
