The present transfer writ petition is filed to call for the records relating to and connected with vide G.O.Ms.No.1, Higher Education (CE) Department dated 08.01.2015 and Memo No.2715/CE/A1/2011 dated 12.05.2015, issued by respondent No.1 and to quash or set-aside the same as being arbitrary, illegal and consequently direct the respondents to revise the Fitment Formula for fixation of Pay of Lecturers in UGC pay scales of 2006 from State RPS 2005 and 2010 and to remove the anomaly in pay fixation seniors between directly recruited Senior Degree College Lecturers and promote Lectures and to extent benefits as per Rules . 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were appointed as Degree College Lecturers on 05.07.2006 and 26.12.2011, respectively and are discharging their duties to the utmost satisfaction of the Authorities. It is further submitted that the Government issued vide G.O.Ms.No.1, Higher Education (CE) Department dated

08.01.2015, pertaining to Fitment Formula for fixation of pay of lecturers in UGS pay scales of 2006 from State RPS 2005 and 2010 and Subsequently, conferment the same vide Memo No.2715/CE/A/2011 dated 12.05.2015. 3.

The main grievance of the petitioners is that by virtue of the orders issued in the G.O.Ms.No.1, Higher Education (CE) Department dated 08.01.2015 and Memo No.2715/CE/A/2011 dated 12.05.2015, the respondent authorities has created artificial distinction between Direct Recruited Degree College Lecturer and Promoted Lecturers. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioners made representations dated 16.02.2015, 28.01.2015 and 25.04.2015, mentioning the anomalies in the Fitment Formula for fixation of pay of lecturers in UGS pay scales of 2006 from State RPS 2005 and 2010 to respondent No.1 and a copy was marked to respondent No.2, but the respondent authorities are not considering the said representations and prays this Hon'ble Court to direct the respondent authorities to consider petitioners representations, dated 16.02.2015, 28.01.2015 and 25.04.2015 and pass appropriate orders.

None appeared for respondents and no counter has been filed by the respondents.

Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the present writ petition (TR) is disposed of, directing respondent authorities to consider the pending representations, dated 16.02.2015, 28.01.2015 and 25.04.2015 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt of the order, after giving a fair opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and communicate the same to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this writ petition (TR) is disposed of. Miscellaneous application, if any pending, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
