When the matter is taken up for hearing today, it is reported by the counsel appearing for both the parties that the relief sought by the petitioners was granted by the respondents vide proceedings in Lr.No.EC/Court Cases/2018, dated 25.08.2018. Therefore, the cause in the writ petition does not survive and the writ petition becomes infructuous.

Recording the aforesaid submission made by both the counsel, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
