When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the case of the petitioner was rejected for the post of Junior Panchayat Secretary on the ground that he is not a member belonging to Adilabad local. Though the petitioner all through has studied in Adilabad District, the respondents are not treating him as a local candidate of Adilabad District. Therefore, appropriate orders be passed in the writ petition directing the respondents to treat the petitioner as a local candidate of Adilabad District and consider his case for appointment to the post of Junior Panchayat Secretary. Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents contended that the State Government has issued G.O.Ms.No.56 dated 22.10.2019, wherein the State Government has relaxed certain conditions imposed in G.O.Ms.No.

124 dated 30.08.2018 and the case of the petitioner will be considered and appropriate orders would be passed in terms of G.O.Ms.No.56 dated 22.10.2019. This Court, having considered the rival submissions made by the learned counsel for the respective parties, is of the considered view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment to the post of Junior Panchayat Secretary strictly in terms of G.O.Ms.No.56 dated 22.10.

accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
