THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.31375 of 2015 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the inaction on the part of the second respondent in returning the Bank Guarantee of 75% value of the seized stock after deducting 25% of the value of seized stock which is ordered to be confiscated vide proceedings dated 25.08.2012 in D.Dis.D1/13/2012 issued by him.

The learned Government Pleader on instructions submits that the District Collector issued instructions to the Tahsildar, Punganur, to withdraw the bank guarantees furnished by the petitioner and adjust 25% of the value of the seized stock and return the remaining balance amount to the respondent in the shape of demand draft and report compliance, by order dated 08.10.2015. In view of the said order, the Tahsildar-fourth respondent is directed to comply with the order of the District Collector within fifteen (15) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
