This Writ Petition is filed declaring the action of the respondents in deducting the crop insurance premium from the crop loans released and to be released to the petitioner/members of the petitioner, as the case may be, at the rate of 1.5% to 5% in the Rabi season during the year 2017-2018, as illegal and arbitrary.

When the matter is called, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing counsel for the respondents would submit that as the Rabi season for the year 2017-2018 was already over, the cause in the Writ Petition do not survive for adjudication and this Writ Petition has become infructuous. 4.

Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
