ORDER

Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj appearing for respondents 1 and 2. This writ petition was filed challenging the action of the 2nd respondent in issuing the impugned proceedings dated 19.06.2004 prohibiting the petitioner from exercising the financial powers as Sarpanch.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner ceased to be a Sarpanch and due to passage of time, no adjudication is necessary in this writ petition.

Recording the aforesaid submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
