HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE B. SIVA SANKARA RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.2281 of 2014 ORDER :

This criminal petition is filed by the petitioners/accused under Section 482 Cr.P.C to quash the proceedings in Crime No.1150 of 2013 of Vijayawada I Town Police Station, Krishna district registered for the offence punishable under Sections 468 and 120-B of I.P.C.

2) It is represented by the learned Public Prosecutor that the parties compromised in the above crime and the compromise was recorded before the Lok Adalat as prelitigation case and the present proceedings sought for against the F.I.R no way survives and as such the petition becomes infructuous.

3) In the result, the petition is dismissed as infructuous. Needless to say the further remedy, if any, is left open to the petitioners.

4) Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
