When the matter came up for hearing on 06.03.2017, it was informed by the learned counsel for the respondent that the learned counsel for the petitioner is no more and the Registry was directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the matter was posted to 03.04.2017. Notice was also served to the petitioner. When the matter came up on 03.04.2017, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and the matter was posted to today. Today also when the matter is called, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. The writ petition is pertaining to the year 1998. Hence, this Court is of the view that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the writ petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed for nonprosecution. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. ______________________ RAJA ELANGO, J Date: 4th April, 2017 KL
