ORDER

This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.311 of 2018 of Malkajgiri Police Station, Rachakonda District, registered for the offences under Sections 420, 468, 471, 447, 427 read with Section 34 IPC, against the petitioner/A3, on various grounds.

Learned counsel for petitioner, after arguing the matter for sometime, requested this Court to direct the police concerned to follow the procedure under Section 41-A Cr.P.C. 3.

Acceding to the request of the counsel for petitioner, without touching the merits of the matter, the Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the police concerned to follow the procedure under Section 41-A Cr.P.C. and the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar v. State of Bihar1. It is needless to observe that if the said direction is not followed by the police, it will lead to contempt of Court.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
