Aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondents, petitioners filed the present writ petition, inter alia, stating that they are the residents of Narendra Nagar Colony layout situated in an extent of area Acs.52.11 gts., in Sy.Nos.46,47, 48, 49, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 64, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91, 93 (P), 94 and 1128 of Ameenpur Panchayat, Patancheruvu Mandal, Medak District and in that lay out, some open land is earmarked for public purpose for development of park or for any other utility purpose.

A series of encroachment attempts have been taken place by the encroachers and have constructed a compound wall around the said open land in February, 2019 and petitioners immediately lodged a complaint to the Ameenpur Municipality and they have removed the compound wall and have set up a board stating that "the land belongs to Municipality". But, however, after some time, once again the land encroachers have constructed the compound wall and once again, on petitioners' complaint, the Ameenpur Municipality has demolished the compound wall and such attempts are going on frequently.

The main grievance of the petitioners is that to protect the said open land from the hands of the land encroachers, seeking direction to the respondents to take immediate steps

to protect the open spaces admeasuring Acs.2.03 gts., in the said survey numbers.

After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents, to put a quietus to this litigation, it is appropriate to direct the petitioners and the respondents, especially Ameenpur Municipality, shall together workout a concrete plan upon the logistics for protecting the subject land from the hands of the encroachers and take appropriate steps for protecting the subject land.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
