This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to declare the action of respondents 3 and 4 in preventing the petitioner to cut down the eucalyptus crop raised in her land in Sy.No.30/1, admeasuring Acs.5.00 cents, situate at Vepagampalli village, P.C. Palli Mandal, Prakasam District, and thereby causing interference in the civil dispute, as illegal and arbitrary. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions of the 4th respondent - Sub Inspector of Police / Station House Officer, P.C. Palli Police Station, Prakasam District, dated 09.07.2018, denying the allegations of the petitioner. It is stated that one M.Govindamma, filed complaint against the petitioner on 27.07.
2016 and the same was enquired into and it was found that the subject matter in the complaint is of civil in nature and, therefore the same was closed on 27.7.2016. It is further stated that respondents 3 and 4 never called the petitioner to the police station, nor demanded her not to cut the eucalyptus crop as alleged.
Recording the above statement of the 4th respondent, writ petition is disposed of.
It is needless to observe that life and liberty of the petitioner shall not be interfered with the police authorities, except in accordance with law.
