ORDER:
This writ petition is filed assailing the inaction of respondent Nos. 2 to 4 in considering the petitioner's application, dated 25.03.2013, for mutation of his name in the property register.
A perusal of the record shows that on 25.03.2013, the petitioner has applied to respondent No.4 for mutation of his name in the property register and the same was followed by his further representations, dated 18.12.2015 and 31.12.2015. At the hearing, learned counsel representing Mr.N.Ashok Kumar, learned standing counsel for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) appearing for respondent Nos.2 to 4, has submitted that in view of the impending Corporation elections, the said respondents could not devote time for considering the applications, such as the one filed by the petitioner, and that after completion of the process of elections, the petitioner's application will be considered and appropriate decision will be taken and communicated to the petitioner. In the light of the above submissions of the learned counsel appearing for
respondent Nos.2 to 4, which are placed on record, the Writ Petition is disposed of, with the direction to respondent Nos.2 to 4 to consider the request of the petitioner for mutation, take a decision and communicate the same to the petitioner, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.3451 of 2016 filed by the petitioner for interim relief shall stand disposed of as infructuous. ______________________________ C.V.NAGARJUNA REDDY, J 01st February, 2016 GHN
