Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Stamps and Registration. 2.
Petitioner alleges that as his wife violated the chit conditions and failed to repay the monthly subscription amount, proceedings were initiated against him before the Deputy Registrar of Chits, the Arbitrator. The Arbitrator vide his award dated 27.11.2013 in Dispute No.250 of ordered recovery of amount of Rs.9,23,898/- along with interest at 18% per annum on the principal amount from the date of dispute till the date of realization and also awarded costs. Aggrieved thereby, the petitioner preferred Appeal No.7390 of 2019. Alleging that said appeal is not disposed of so far, this Writ Petition is filed. 3.
Copy of Appeal No.7390 of 2019 is enclosed from page Nos.18 to 23 to the Writ Petition material paper book. 4.
In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the appellate authority to consider the Appeal No.7390 of 2019 filed by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
