THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE V. RAMASUBRAMANIAN AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE N. BALAYOGI WRIT PETITION No. 16577 of 2017 ORDER: (Per VRS,J) The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition, challenging the non-inclusion of her name in the select list as a local candidate.

Heard Mr. Shaik Altaf, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr. Abhinand Kumar Shavili, learned standing counsel for the High Court, appearing for the respondents 2 and 3. 3.

The petitioner applied for selection to the post of Junior Assistant in the District unit of the Judiciary at Karimnagar, in March, 2017. She secured 49 marks out of a total of 80 marks in the written examination, but she was not selected. Therefore, she has come up with the above writ petition, challenging her non-selection. 4.

It is stated in the counter affidavit filed by the Registry that three posts were reserved for B.C.-E category, to which the petitioner belongs. Therefore, in the ratio of 1:10, 30 candidates belonging to B.C.-E category were invited for interview. But, the name of the petitioner was at Serial No.36 in the said list. Nine candidates had secured the same marks as the petitioner, namely, 49 marks. Since the petitioner happened to be the youngest of the lot, she could not come within the select list. VRS,J & NBY,J WP No.16577 of 2017 before us. The factual details are not denied. Therefore, no relief can be granted to the petitioner. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed.
