Heard Mr.V.Surendra Reddy for petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader (Assignment).

The petitioner complains against inaction of respondents 3 to 5 in complying with the enquiry directed by 2nd respondent through Memo No.X4/ 3122/ 2014 dated 13.06.2016 as illegal, arbitrary and amounts to not exercising the jurisdiction conferred on respondents. To appreciate the grievance of petitioner, the memo is excerpted hereunder:

Copy of the report of DIG(R&S), Ananthapur is forwarded herewith as requested vide ref.5th cited and to take action immediately in terms of G.O.Ms.No.2 &

G.O.Ms.No.25 of GAD as he being the disciplinary authority and submit compliance within one month positively. for Director & Inspector General of Registration and Stamps , A.P., Hyderabad."

The writ petition has been adjourned at the instance of respondents to get instructions on the further steps taken to letter dated 05.07.2016. The Assistant Government Pleader (Revenue) places on record the report of even date from the office of Deputy Inspector General (R&S), Chittoor/ 3rd respondent. The operative portion of the report reads thus:

"It is submitted to the Hon'ble High Court that under Rule 20 of APCS (CCA) Rule, 1991 disciplinary action has already been initiated. Final action will be taken within two months after completion of all formalities." Mr.Surendra Reddy submits that on the fudging or tampering of entries in RH Register, the petitioner may be given liberty to work out the remedies in accordance with law.

The writ petition is disposed of by placing the report on record and also by granting liberty as prayed for. No order as to costs.
