This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in earmarking the land of the petitioner i.e. land admeasuring Ac.0.18 guntas in Sy.No.479, situated at Maruthi Nagar locality, Chowlamaddi Village, Metpally Mandal of Jagtial District, for laying road, without issuing any notice and without initiating the land acquisition proceedings.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Sri G.Narender Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for 3rd respondent-Gram Panchayat, submits that the respondents are only strengthening the existing road; and that they are not laying any road from the land of the petitioner.

Recording the aforesaid submission of learned Standing Counsel, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
