When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner had retired from service during pendency of the writ petition. In view of the same, the cause in the writ petition does not survive and, accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
