HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 2364 of 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioners/A.2 to A4 seek to quash the proceedings in CC No. 285 of 2012 on the file of First Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Warangal,, registered for the offences under Section 498-A IPC and Sections 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 19.06.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, WPS, Warangal District and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 3.7.2017 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in CC No. 285 of 2012 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
