This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the inaction of the respondents in completing the investigation and filing chargesheet in Cr.No.57 of 2012. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that complaint of the petitioners, which is registered in Cr.No.57 of 2012 was investigated into and when prima facie case was not established, sought legal opinion from the APP, Ananthapur on 20-02-2014 and permission from Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Srikalahasti was obtained on 31-05-2014, the investigating officer closed the said crime by referring the same as 'false'.
The 3rd respondent tried to serve notice on the 1st petitioner, who is the defacto-complainant, he is unable to serve the same as she is not available in the address given by her at the time of registration or at the time of recording her statement, notice was sent to the 1st petitioner by RPAD and subsequently, the police filed final report before the Additional Junior Civil Judge, Srikalahasti. Now a copy of notice as well as final report is served on the learned counsel for the petitioner.
In view of the same, it is open for the petitioners to avail remedies available to them under law.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
