THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE T.VI NOD KUMAR WRI T PETI TI ON No.26510 of 2019 ORDER:

The present writ petition is filed to declare the action of the second respondent in insisting the petitioner to execute illegal agreements at the police station and interfering with the duties of the petitioner as bank manager, as being illegal, arbitrary and unjust. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, based on written instructions, dated 29.11.2019, while denying the allegations made in the writ petition, submits that the third respondent in the writ petition lodged a complaint on 25.11.2019 with the second respondent with regard to dowry harassment, whereupon the second respondent made a G.D. entry and called the petitioner and the third respondent to the police station for the purpose counselling and after conducting counselling, both the parties agreed to lead matrimonial life happily. It is further stated that the second respondent never interfered with the life and liberty of the petitioner nor insisted upon to execute the alleged agreement in the police station. 4.

Recording the above submissions made on behalf of the second respondent and also placing a copy of the written instructions on record, no further orders need be passed in the writ petition. 5.

The writ petition is accordingly closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
