THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM CONTEMPT CASE No. 928 OF 2017 ORDER :

This Contempt Case is filed alleging violation of the order passed by this Court on 13.04.2015 in W.P.M.P.No.13616 of 2015 in W.P.No.10319 of 2015.

This Court, while disposing of the vacate stay petition filed in the aforesaid Writ Petition, found that pursuant to the Award No.9/2002, dated 31.12.2002, passed by the Land Acquisition Officer, the subject property vests with the State. In those circumstances, it cannot be said that the petitioners are owners of the subject property. Therefore, the order passed in the writ petition granting interim direction not to interfere with the peaceful possession and enjoyment over the subject property does not stand for the reason that the subject property vests with the State pursuant to the said Award.

In those circumstances, I do not find any contempt in the case on hand and accordingly, the Contempt Case is dismissed.
