HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A. SHANKAR NARAYANA C.M.A. No.2028 OF 2004 JUDGMENT:

Learned counsel representing Sri Addepalli Suryanarayana, who was appearing for the appellant, would submit that on being designated as 'Senior Counsel', Sri Addepalli Suryanarayana has given up his vakalat and even a communication to that effect was sent to the appellant viz., The New India Assurance Company Limited and also filed a Memo in USR No.1428 of 2014, dated 04-09-2014.

Despite the matter being adjourned on three occasions in 2015 and again on 08.03.2016 and 22.03.2016, the respondent has not made any effort to appoint a panel advocate to represent the appeal. Therefore, the appeal is dismissed for nonprosecution. There shall be no order as to costs.
