Sirigi Reddy Harshith Reddy, v. The State Of Telangana,
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE V.RAMASUBRAMANIAN AND HON'BLE SMT. JUSTICE T.RAJANI Writ Petition No.27490 of 2017 Order: (per V.Ramasubramanian, J.) This is an unfortunate case where the petitioner could not participate in the counselling, on account of getting involved in a road traffic accident and being admitted in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital. The petitioner could not participate for counselling due to the aforesaid reason.
2. But unfortunately, when the writ petition came up for hearing on 17-8-2017, the matter went along with the batch where students sought permission to upload applications for Category-B or C seats. Therefore, an interim order was passed permitting the petitioner to upload the application.
3. Later, the counsel for the petitioner brought to our notice the above mistake and we posted the matter to today.
4. The petitioner wants his father to participate in the counselling, due to his health condition. But the last date for counselling and allotment of candidates is over by 31-8-2017. Even by a judicial order, this Court cannot extend the last date. Therefore, no order can be granted to the petitioner. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. No costs. ___________________________ V.RAMASUBRAMANIAN, J.
