THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 26546 OF 2019 O R D E R :

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a mandamus to declare the action of the 2nd respondent - Assistant Registrar / Election Officer in not considering the objections filed by the petitioner dated 12.07.2019 requesting to scrutinize the voters' list by deleting the members who have criminal cases and misused the funds of the Society and to conduct elections of the Society smoothly, as illegal and arbitrary.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the previous managing committee had given membership to outside people and near and dear from 2000 without approval of the general body and thus, the voters' list furnished is irregular.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Government Pleader for Cooperation.

By order dated 10.12.2019, in similar circumstances, this Court dismissed Writ Petition No. 25603 of 2019. For the reasons recorded therein, this Writ Petition is also liable to be dismissed and accordingly, the same is dismissed. No costs.
