This Criminal Petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed to quash the Order of extension dt.03.07.2017 in Crl.M.P.No.382 of 2017 on the file of Special Judge-cum-Principle District Judge, Ongole. After arguing the matter for a while, Sri Shaik Karimulla, learned counsel for the petitioners/ A.11 and 13, requested this Court to direct the concerned to follow the procedure contemplated under Section 41-A Cr.P.C., and the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Ar n esh Ku m ar v. St at e of Bih ar an d an ot h er 1 In view of the request made by the learned Counsel for the petitioners, the Police of Cumbum Police Station, Prakasam District, are directed to follow the procedure contemplated under Section 41-A Cr.P.C., and the guidelines laid down by the Supreme Court in Ar n esh Ku m ar 's case supra.

With the above direction, this Criminal Petition is disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
