THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT W.P. No.23237 of 2018 ORDER:

Heard Mr.M.A.Khader for petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

The petitioner prays for the following relief: "...............Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the Respondent No.4 herein in mutating the name of the Respondent No.5 in the Revenue Records removing the name of the Petitioner against the property admeasuring 1.56 acres situated in Survey No.50-5-B Account No.2159 in Kadimetla Village, Yemmiganur Mandal, Kurnool District, A.P. when the Revision Petition dated 16.12.2017 is pending before Respondent No.2 on the orders passed by the Respondent No.3 dated 20.11.2017, as illegal, arbitrary, unjust contrary to rules............."

The petitioner on 16.12.2017 filed the revision under the A.P.Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 challenging the order impugned in this writ petition. Since the revision which is effective under the Act is already availed, the writ petition need not be kept pending. Hence, the writ petition is disposed of by this order: (a) The Joint Collector/2nd respondent considers disposing of the revision filed on 16.12.2017 as expeditiously as possible preferably within three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

(b) The petitioner is given liberty to file copy of the revision along with the order copy within four (04) weeks from today. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
