HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE T. VINOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.26568 OF 2019 ORDER (ORAL) :

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking to declare the action of respondent Nos.2 to 6 in not registering a case or arresting the culprits pursuant to his complaint dated 07.08.2019 as being illegal and arbitrary.

2. The case of the petitioner is that respondent No.7, who is Revenue Divisional Officer, Kodad, Kodad Town and Mandal, Suryapet District, Telangana, has passed the proceedings dated 17.07.2019 in discharge of his official duties contrary to law by taking illegal gratification and though the petitioner made the aforesaid complaint to respondent No.6 in that regard, respondent Nos.2 to 6 are not registering a case against respondent Nos.7 to 10 or arresting the culprits.

3. Heard Sri Vijay Kumar Panuganti, learned counsel for the petitioner, and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 6, and perused the material on record.

4. It is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner that if the petitioner is aggrieved by the proceedings dated 17.07.2019 which was passed by respondent No.7 in discharge of his official duties, appropriate remedy is provided to him under law to question

the same before the competent authority, as such, this Court is of the view that the present writ petition is not maintainable.

5. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed as not maintainable. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition stand closed.
