HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR W.P.No.9326 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Home.

The petitioners question the action of the respondents in finalizing tenders called for vide Tender Notice, dated 20-01-2015 as well as the Corrigendum issued on 03-02-2015, whereby the condition regarding installation of equipment was deleted.

Learned Government Pleader for Home has received instructions from the 2nd respondent-Deputy Inspector General of Police, which state that keeping in view the large number of variations and deficiencies, the Committee has decided to cancel the tender notice for procurement of Surveillance System for five Districts. In view of cancellation of the tender notice, nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No order as to costs. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
