This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners / accused Nos.1 and 2 in C.C.No.346 of 2017 pending on the file of the XXI Metropolitan Magistrate, Medchal, Cyberabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 354 of IPC, to quash the proceedings in the above said case.

During the pendency of the present Criminal Petition, the parties have compromised the matter and, accordingly, petitioners and respondent No.2 - de facto complainant filed I.A.Nos.1 and 3 of 2021 respectively to permit them to compound the offence and quash the proceedings in C.C.No.346 of 2017.

Vide order dated 01-12-2021, this Court, after recording the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as respondent No.2, directed the parties to appear before the Secretary, Telangana High Court Legal Services Committee, Hyderabad for their identification and also directed the Secretary to submit a report by 08-12-2021. In compliance with the said order dated 01-12-2021, the

Secretary, Telangana High Court Legal Services Committee, Hyderabad has submitted his report dated 07-12-2021. 4.

In the report of the Secretary, Telangana High Court Legal Services Committee, Hyderabad, it is stated that he examined both the parties, verified their particulars from their Aadhaar Cards duly identified and endorsed by their respective counsel and the same were tallied. 5.

The parties herein have filed a joint memo of compromise dated 28-11-2021. The said joint memo of compromise and the report of the Secretary, Telangana High Court Legal Services Committee, Hyderabad are placed on record.

As per the contents of Joint Memo and the affidavit filed thereof would reveal that respondent No.2 has filed a complaint against the petitioners and that the same has been registered as C.C.No.346 of 2017 pending on the file of the XXI Metropolitan Magistrate, Medchal, Cyberabad, for the offences punishable under Section 498-A and 354 of IPC, and thereafter she entered into compromise with the petitioners and accordingly, she has approached this Court for recording the compromise 7.

In view the said report and also in view of the compromise entered between the petitioners / Accused Nos.1

and 2 and respondent No.2, I.A.Nos.1 and 3 of 2021 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed and the proceedings in C.C.No.346 of 2017 pending on the file of the XXI Metropolitan Magistrate, Medchal, Cyberabad, are hereby quashed against petitioners / accused Nos.1 and 2 only. However, the petitioners /A-1 and A-2 are directed to deposit an amount of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees five thousands only) before Telangana High Court Advocates Association, within a period of ten days from today. Miscellaneous Petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
