The present writ petition is filed to declare the action of the fourth respondent in calling the petitioner to the police station since 24.11.2019 and making him sit till night under the guise of enquiry into the false complaint given by the sixth respondent without assigning any reason whatsoever, as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, based on the written instructions, dated 04.12.2019, would submit that the allegations in the writ petition are false and the fourth respondent never called the petitioner to the police station, nor made him sit in the police station. Learned AGP would further submit that till date no complaint is given by any individual against the petitioner, nor any case is registered against him and that the fourth respondent never interfered in the civil disputes of the petitioner at any point of time.

In the light of the submissions made on behalf of the fourth respondent stating that the petitioner was never called to the police station nor the fourth respondent interfered in the civil disputes of the petitioner, this Court is of the view that no further orders are required to be passed in the writ petition.

The writ petition is accordingly closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
