ORAL ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue and with their consent the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage.

According to petitioners, land to an extent of Ac.4.38 guntas in Survey No.293, Mangalpally village, Ibrahimpatnam mandal, Ranga Reddy district was owned by father of first petitioner. He was issued with pass book and title deeds and his name was mutated in the revenue records by order dated 16.9.1993. After death of father of first petitioners, petitioners herein succeeded to the property and applied for mutation of their names in the revenue records on 24.6.2019. Alleging inaction, this writ petition is filed.

From the material placed on record, it is seen that mutation application is made in physical form. 3.

As per the procedure evolved by the Government, person who seeks to mutate name in the revenue records and issuance of pattadar passbooks must make application in Form 6-A through online web portal and applications made in physical form are not accepted. No proof is filed of making application through online web portal, therefore, it cannot be said that respondent Tahsildar is negligent in accepting the request of the petitioner.

Writ petition, therefore disposed of, granting liberty to petitioners to make application in the prescribed form to mutate their names and to issue pattadar pass books and title deeds. As and when such an application is filed, same shall be considered and disposed of expeditiously in accordance with law. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
