Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

I have perused the prayer and also the application of the petitioner whereby he had applied for a quarry lease for a period of ten years commencing from 2005. The period for which the application was made is virtually over and in view thereof he does not press this writ petition and seeks liberty to the petitioner to apply afresh for quarry lease.

Writ petition is disposed of as infructuous with liberty as prayed. If the petitioner makes an application for a quarry lease, same may be considered on merits in accordance with law. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
