THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.6911 of 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner-accused No.1 seeking to quash the proceedings against him in CC No.64 of 2012 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Adilabad. Heard and perused the material available on record. The petitioner is alleged to have committed the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 506 r/w.34 IPC. It is alleged that the petitioner and other accused approached the de facto complainant and made him to believe that they would provide job to him in the Revenue Department and received a sum of Rs.1,80,000/- and failed to provide the job and thereby, cheated him. The truth or otherwise of the above said allegations can be ascertained during the trial of the case. Hence, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings against the petitioner.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. _______________ RAJA ELANGO, J April 29, 2016.
