This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.313 of 2013 on the file of the Bhiknoor Police Station, Nizamabad District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 506(ii) read with Section 34 I.P.C. and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act and Section 3 (x) of S.Cs. & S.Ts. (PoA) Act, When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is submitted by the learned Public Prosecutor that the case against petitioners was ended in acquittal and hence nothing survives for adjudication in the Criminal Petition. Recording the above submission, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
