Yes/No HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.2866 OF 2009 ORDER:

This petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in calling the petitioner every day to the police station without there being any cases registered, as illegal and arbitrary and for a consequential direction to the respondents not to harass the petitioner by calling to the police station without issuing any notice or warrant or intimation, in the absence any cases registered against the

petitioner.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after passing of interim orders dated 16.02.2009 by this Court, a crime was also registered against the petitioner at the instance of respondent Bank and subsequently the matter was compromised before the Lok Adalat for withdrawing the complaint. As such the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. Since it is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that inspite of orders passed in the Lok Adalat, crime is not closed, it is open of the petitioner to take appropriate steps for implementation of the award passed in the Lok Adalat. No costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
