THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.17312 OF 2016 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 2, and Sri Ch. Ravi, learned Standing Counsel for Gram Panchayat appearing for respondent No.3.

Challenge in this writ petition is to the notice dated 23.05.2016 issued by the third respondent stating that the petitioners have occupied the Government land situated in S. Kondepadu Village and constructed a hut in it and within seven days after receipt of such notice, they have to vacate the same.

Sri Ch. Ravi, learned Standing Counsel, on instructions, submits that the petitioners have occupied the land belonging to Gram Panchayat and made construction on it and the notice issued is only a show cause notice.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners may be granted three months time to vacate the subject land and to make their alternate arrangements and he undertakes to file an affidavit to that effect.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

The miscellaneous petitions, if any, filed in the Writ Petition shall stand closed.
