ORDER

This writ petition is filed by five individual players of Taekwondo, which is one of the Marshal arts.

The petitioners claim that they were the members of the Andhra Pradesh Taekwondo Association and consequent to bifurcation of the State, a new association was formed viz., The New Andhra Pradesh Taekwondo Association-3rd respondent. There is an inter se dispute between the erstwhile A.P. Association and New Association and the same is subject matter of W.P.Nos.40266 & 17783 of 2016, which are pending. Now, the 2nd respondent extended invitation to the 3rd respondent for sending players to the National Championship Competition that is going to be held from 17.2.2017 to 20.2.2017 at Visakhapatnam. When the names of the petitioners were not sponsored by the 3rd respondent, the present writ petition is filed.

The invitation was extended on 5.1.2017 and there is no explanation from the petitioners for approaching this Court at the eleventh hour. Even otherwise also, no material is placed before this Court with regard to eligibility of the petitioners to participate in their individual capacity without being sponsored by any association.

In these circumstances, this Court sees no ground to entertain the present writ petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. ___________________________________ JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO 16th February, 2017 rkk
