THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.14221 OF 2017 ORDER:

Petitioner was working as Home Guard. By orders, dated 16.02.2015, he was removed from service on the ground that he was involved in Crime No.79 of 2014 of Kollapur Police Station. 2.

Petitioner was accused in S.C.No.116 of 2015 on the file of IX Additional District and Sessions Judge, Wanaparthy.

By judgment, dated 02.08.2016, the Sessions Judge acquitted the petitioner of the charges levelled against him. 3.

On acquittal, petitioner submitted representation, dated 18.10.2016, to reinstate him into service. He has also submitted two reminders, dated 20.12.2016 and 31.01.2017. Alleging inaction on the said representations, this Writ Petition is filed. 4.

Since the petitioner has already ventilated his grievance, which is pending consideration by the competent authority, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent authorities to examine the representation, dated 31.01.2017, followed by reminders, dated 20.12.2016 and 31.01.2017, submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law by assigning due reasons as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the said decision to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
