The present Criminal Petition, under Sections 437 and 439 of Cr.P.C., is filed by the petitioners/A.1 and A.2 seeking to enlarge them on bail in F.I.R. No.171 of 2016, dated 21.09.2016, of the Station House Officer, Tangutur Police Station, Prakasam District, registered for the offences punishable under Section 20(B), r/w. 8(c) of N.D.P.S. Act, 1985.

Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as the learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent - State and perused the material on record.

Keeping in view the quantity of ganja i.e., 230 Kgs. recovered from the petitioners/A.1 and A.2 while transporting the same in a Scoda Car having fake registration No.AP 7F 1981 and keeping in view the fact that the investigation is at the advance stage, I do not find any ground to admit the petitioners/A.1 and A.2 on bail. 4.
