THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M. SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION No.7594 of 2014 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner/accused No.5, under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., seeking to quash F.I.R.No.354 of 2014 on the file of Mailardevpally Police Station, Cyberabad, registered for the offences punishable under Section 7 (1) of the Essential Commodities Act and Sections 420, 120-B of I.P.C.

The learned Public Prosecutor representing the 1st respondentState submitted that the entire investigation has been completed and the charge-sheet is filed against accused Nos.1 to 4 while showing the petitioner/A-5 as absconding and reserving the right to file a separate charge-sheet against the petitioner/A-5. In view of completion of investigation, the question of quashing the FIR does not arise at this stage.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand dismissed.
