This Writ Petition was filed challenging the registration of crime No. 140 of 2016 on 08-11-2016 by respondent No. 4 pursuant to a complaint made by respondent No. 5.

Respondent No. 4 registered the above crime on the complaint and a perusal of the complaint shows that registration of the crime is not bad in law. However, it is needless to observe that the police while investigation shall follow due process of law including Section 41-A of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
