Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the matter pertains to the election of the 6th respondent-Society for the year 2008 and the term of the office itself has been over, nothing survives in this writ petition and the same has become infructuous. Recording the said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
