The only grievance of the petitioners is that the complaint of the 1st petitioner was not acted upon.

Heard the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, who, submits that necessary action will be initiated in terms of the guidelines laid down in the judgment of Lalitha Kumari v. Government of Uttar Pradesh1 on the complaint of the 1st petitioner. Heard Sri P.Nageshwar Rao, learned counsel for the 6th respondent.

In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent-police to take action on the complaint of the 1st petitioner by following the guidelines laid down in Lalitha Kumari's case cited supra. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
