ORAL ORDER:

This contempt case is filed alleging disobedience of the directions issued in common judgment rendered in WP No. 38060 of 2015 and batch dated 29.1.2016. The issue in the said batch of writ petitions was with reference to application of provisions of Section 47 of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995.

Earlier batch of contempt cases are filed alleging disobedience of the directions issued. Taking note of the order passed by the Division Bench against the decision in the above batch of writ petitions and thereon judgment of the Supreme Court, said contempt cases were dismissed holding that it cannot be said that respondents have violated the directions of the Court when the decision rendered in the batch of writ petitions, affirmed by the Bench was set aside by Supreme Court.
